We headed out from Dorney at 6.30 and caught the train to Reading to change for the train to Penzance, it was then that we told T that we were off to Penzance for the day :)

It was long journey and took 5 hours!

When we got to the other end it was a quarter mile walk to the Yacht Inn where we had lunch, I had fish special, P had steak pie he wasn't keen, but mine was good and T enjoyed hers too.

We then walked back and had coffee and cake in a little cafe, it was quite cold but dry.

After a brief wait at the station we headed back on the train.

We were home by 10pm

it was a great day :D
